ORYX Photography: Photo Tour Leader: Adam Walleyn

Adam was born and raised in the Canadian prairies and has spent his life exploring the world in search of wildlife; birds and mammals have always been his main focus. He has traveled and guided natural history tours throughout the seven continents and from the Ross Sea in the south to the high Arctic in the north and he feels at home just about anywhere on the globe. He has also worked on numerous conservation projects, including work with several critically endangered species – Black Robin, Kakapo, Spoon-billed Sandpiper and Vanikoro Flying Fox. In addition to a very well-rounded knowledge of natural history, he has also studied human history.
